Robert Towne (b. 1934) is one of the writers of Mission: Impossible and Mission: Impossible II.
Towne is an American writer who has also written movies such as Villa Rides, The Last Detail, Chinatown, The Yakuza, Shampoo, Personal Best, Tequila Sunrise, Days of Thunder, The Two Jakes, The Firm, and Ask the Dust.
