Philip Seymour Hoffman (July 23, 1967 – February 2, 2014) was an American actor, director, and producer. He portrayed international weapons dealer Owen Davian in Mission: Impossible III.
Hoffman was an American actor who has appeared in movies such as The Fifteen Minute Hamlet, Twister, The Big Lebowski, Patch Adams, Flawless, Magnolia, The Talented Mr. Ripley, 25th Hour, Cold Mountain, Along Came Polly, Capote, and Charlie Wilson's War. His son and brother are also involved in the movie industry.
He died on February 2, 2014 from a heroin overdose worsened by other substances.
