Mission: Impossible 7 will be the seventh installment in the Mission: Impossible franchise. The film will be directed by Christopher McQuarrie and was planned to be released on July 23, 2021, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was pushed back to November 19, 2021 then was pushed back again to September 30, 2022.
The current working title is Libra, much like Fallout's (Gemini).

This film will be shot back-to-back with Mission: Impossible 8, much like Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. In September 2019, director Christopher McQuarrie confirmed on social media that Hayley Atwell will join the cast.
Production was stalled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but has continued since.
