J.J. Abrams (b. 1966) is the director and one of the writers of Mission: Impossible III and one of the producers of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and Mission: Impossible VI. Abrams is an American writer who has also written movies such as Forever Young, Armageddon, and Joy Ride. He is also the creator of several television series, including Felicity, Alias, Lost, Fringe, and Undercovers. He also directed the 2009 reboot Star Trek, Super 8, and an episode of The Office.
