Bob Johnson (b. 1921, d. 1994) played the "voice on tape" that gives the IMF leader his missions in Mission: Impossible (1966) and Mission: Impossible (1988).
Johnson was an American actor whose voice was also heard in episodes of The Outer Limits and Star Trek. Johnson was never credited for any of his work on Mission: Impossible. Despite this, Johnson was the only performer to be involved in all seven seasons of the original series and the two seasons of the 1988 revival. He also played the role for a 1968 episode of the sitcom Here's Lucy.
